The new, future-oriented competition confronts the students with a new challenge. Formula Student Germany (FSG) is an international con-struction competition for students with the aim of promoting research in multiple disciplines on a concrete application. The competition is divided into three classes: electric, combustion and driverless vehicle. The last classification, which has existed since 2017, is called Formula Student The competition must be based on the official Formula Student rules and all disciplines must be offered to participate for every team. Formula Driverless In 2017, Formula Student Germany introduced a new class of the competition dedicated to Driverless, that is to say to autonomous vehicles. Starting from 2018, Formula SAE Italy & Formula Electric Italy along with Formula Student UK and Formula East have decided to follow the German event introducing a Driverless competition too. FSG 2021 will be held from 16th until 22nd of August 2021 in Hockenheim. FSC: 22 registered FSC teams, 0 pending teams and 78 teams on the waiting list.
